## 2. STATE TODAY

- **Exists:** section skeleton only — mirrors EP1 structure exactly (same 8 segments, same purposes with aggregator-specific wording: evidence block A = "aggregation mechanism, how content is repackaged"; block B = "daily-outrage cadence and spread pathway").
- **Stale/broken:** ref video glob (0 files); all receipt_hooks Tier-2-only; `script_segments.json` absent.
- **Missing from zero:** factbase lines (aggregation examples, source-outlet chain verbatim), all downstream assets.

## 3. DUAL-LENS READ

### LENS 1 — EDU
- **E1:** the aggregator episode carries a special E1 subtlety — the outlet's "own words" are largely OTHER outlets' words re-presented. Factbase must capture the SELECTION pattern (what was chosen, what headline was given, what was omitted) as Tier-1 capture: the Liberty Daily post verbatim + the source item it repackaged + archive links for both.
- **E2 framing mandates:** never "they wrote it" when they repackaged it; never "they published X" without distinguishing published-from vs. linked-to. On air: name the original source each time — that naming IS the educational payload.
- **E3–E6:** the daily cadence is the comprehension device; no reach numbers without factbase lines.

### LENS 2 — ENT
- **T1:** a Liberty Daily roundup post verbatim on screen at 0:00 with one selected headline circled; question over it. No preamble.
- **T2/T3/T8:** standard rhythm; 3 presenter slots per routed receipt.
- **T4:** the "day cycle" gives a natural 90s rhythm: morning roundup → what got selected → where it flowed → what it became.
- **T5:** verdict wall = the day's selection sheet + what each pick became downstream, stamped.
- **T6:** muffled treatment on the aggregation page; crisp+hit on the comparison (original framing vs. Liberty Daily's repackaging).
- **T7:** Spot-the-Spin: show two headlines of the same story (original vs. their curation) — viewer guesses which is which BEFORE reveal.

## 4. CRAFT LAYER

- **Pretest hook (E1×T1), drafted now, counts ACQUISITION-GATED:** show the day's roundup: *"One of these headlines is from a fringe site the mainstream ignored, and Liberty Daily moved it into the conversation anyway. Which one? Guess before I show you the traffic."* Wrong plausible answer: "Aggregators don't change reach." Reveal = the amplification map showing the selection → spread chain.
- **Gap ledger:** open = "who decides what a million people see if nobody writes the story?"; hold = each selection example names the next hop; close = the selection-pattern verdict (Station D adapted: aggregators rarely retract — verdict cites the amplification + selection record per series rule §6.4).
- **Amplification-map beat:** here the outlet is a middle node, not an origin — map shows upstream far-right sources → Liberty Daily selection → downstream spread. Source attribution per node sourced.
- **"Who funds/carries it" card:** ACQUISITION-GATED lines only.
- **Math beat (E4):** selection-ratio beat — "of [N] items curated on [date], how many traced to [category of source]?" Compute with viewer from factbase-derived counts only; qualitative if unsourced.
- **Anchor conversion (E5):** cadence anchor ("roughly one outrage post every [X] waking hours" — computed from post-count + timeframe factbase lines only).
- **E7 technique tags:** **false attribution** (republished framing without the original's caveats/context), **anecdote-as-data**, **cherry-pick** (selection-as-framing), **missing base rate**. Series consistency: same labels as all eps.
- **Steelman staging (E8×T3):** aggregator's own defense: "We didn't write it — we just share the news." Honored, then answered with the selection record: curation decisions ARE editorial acts; their own headlines (written BY Liberty Daily over others' content) are the receipts.
- **One-ask close (E10):** *pick one story in your feed today and find the ORIGINAL source and its caveats — comment what the republication dropped.* No suppression ask.
- **E9 tease:** EP3 gap: *"Next: what happens when this pipeline gets a TV studio — One America News. A press badge changes how a claim feels."*

## 5. STEPS

Same step chain as EP1 worksheet (SA-RES → SA-SCR → SA-TTS → SA-CARD/SA-VST/SA-PRES → SA-COMP → SA-CUT → SA-PUB → SA-QC-FINAL); EP2-specific PASS deltas:

- **SA-RES:** factbase Liberty Daily block: selection-pattern captures (Liberty Daily post verbatim + upstream source verbatim + both archive links); ≥3 paired Tier-1 lines.
- **SA-SCR:** every segment distinguishes "published from" vs "linked to"; original-source naming mandatory in narration.
- **SA-CARD:** the selection-sheet card (roundup verbatim, chosen item highlighted) is EP2's signature asset alongside the amplification map.
- **SA-PUB:** `episode_liberty_daily.json` + `_broadcast_liberty_daily.json`.

**QC GATE (2026-09-02):** After SA-QC-FINAL, executor **SA-QC-VIS** runs the multimodal QC gate (C:/DandyDon/smm/QC_GATE.md): frames extracted, the rendered master VIEWED by an independent multimodal reviewer and scored on the 10-dimension rubric (engagement, educational quality, audio quality, visual quality, visual relevance, duration/sync integrity, receipt legibility, presenter discipline, fact-accuracy spot-check, platform-cut QA). PASS thresholds: ≥7.0 overall / no dimension <6 / zero hard-fails. Receipt: `smm/receipts/QC_series_rightwing_threat_EP2_<date>.md` — REQUIRED for ship.
